An adventure in granny squares...
Hi everyone :)
Here's another easy to follow crochet scarf pattern I created .

I created this pattern for a student of mine who needed an easy pattern she could follow without me having to guide her every step of the way. She also happened to be interested in granny squares at the time, so this is what came of that.
I will admit, when I thought of making a scarf in granny squares, I cringed. All the google results that came up online were of all sorts of hideous scarves done in hideous colors. I thought long and hard, however, of how I was going to have my student make her scarf. I definitely didn't want her to make something ugly. So, I had her make something like this, and she absolutely loved it!!!
Also, as an added bonus, the very scarf that I have in the picture, was gifted to my fashion-obsessed niece, and it was a hit as well!
So, this scarf is definitely a must-have.
Please, though, be color-conscious, and - most of all - be Happy :)
